Was 1999 the best year ever for movies? Fellow Imagination Connoisseur JB Bonifacio seems to think so. Personally, I (Mike) would vote for 1939, but that’s a rant for another day.
Read his letter below and then let us know what you think ….
I sent a superchat earlier this week with a hot take, stating that I believe to this day, that 1999 was and is the best year ever in movies. Not convinced? Well let’s count em off:
10 Things I Hate About You.
Boy’s Don’t Cry.
The Sixth Sense.
The Virgin Suicides.
The Iron Giant.
Run Lola Run.
Being John Malkovich.
I challenge anyone to find a year with more influential cinema.
Thanks for reading my letter, Rob.
You ALL are breathtaking!
