During the summer of 2017, David Lynch and writing partner Mark Frost brought viewers back to Twin Peaks for a reunion that answered many of the questions first asked 25 years earlier – and left new ones behind.
Twin Peaks: The Return (2017)
The eighteen episodes that continued the mystery surrounding the death of Laura Palmer and the odd occurrences in Twin Peaks, WA were hailed as some of the best filmmaking of the year – on any-sized screen. Lynch managed to reunite much of the original cast of the 1990-91 television series and set the story 25 years after the events in the original series took place.

Twenty-five years is a long time to keep a story in suspended animation – just ask poor Agent Cooper. But David Lynch and Mark Frost pulled it off with the help of SHOWTIME and a cast of actors interested in exploring their unique characters once again.
